Now named Plant Made. Food was decent. The burger wasn't the best, but their truffle pizza was very good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian
Ok actually quite good vegan mushroom pizza. That’s why they get 5 stars. Margarita would be 5/5 if it had a bit more of that cashew cream cheese… Drinks were lovely. HUGE basil lemonade. Fab Arnold Palmer. Great. Tacos were whatever ngl. Get the pizza!! This restaurant is part of bar verde, the Mexican vegan restaurant, too. It’s a bit confusing. They are super allergen friendly. Nut free, GF, even soy free! They have tons of outdoor and indoor seating. Did not need a Rez for a Saturday @noon. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $10–20 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian Vegetarian options: All vegan Dietary restrictions: GF, Soy Free, Nut free options
We tried all 3 of the pizzas at Plant Made and they were all excellent. Good atmosphere, great service. On the list for NYC must try vegan spots. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50
I enjoyed most of the food at this restaurant, but I found that some of the dishes were the same as those at other restaurants owned by the same people, which was a bit boring to me. Our waiter was great, but they forgot to wrap up the leftover antipasto, which was disappointing since that was the reason I was taking it home. The mac and cheese was decent, but it needed a little something extra. The pita bread that came with the olives was good, but the olives themselves tasted like paper, which I did not enjoy. The eggplant parmigiana was a little bland, and the cheesecake was okay, although I wasn't a fan of the mango layer on top. It was also quite small for the price. I might try the pizza next time to see if it's better. Overall, I would give the service a 4 out of 5 and the food a 3 out of 5.
The food at this restaurant has room for improvement, but I can see the potential. The dishes should taste more like what they are trying to recreate. Everything seems to have a similar cashew cheese flavor, and I would appreciate more variety in flavors. The pizza is definitely a standout dish, as well as some of the desserts. The atmosphere of the restaurant is fantastic!
