I love that Comodo started as dinner parties held in the chef's home, and I'm especially proud to support Latino entrepreneurship, as both co-owners of the restaurant are Latino. My husband and I went there on a chilly winter evening with some friends, and from the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed by the friendly staff and, most importantly, the delicious food. We shared lamb sliders, arepas, and brussel sp... View all feedback.
What OpenTable Diner dislikes about Cómodo:
My husband and I went for brunch--we were the first guests in the restaurant and the only ones during our visit. When I ordered my breakfast bowl I was told it would be 20 min in order for the rice to be prepared which I was okay with, but unfortunately that 20 min ended up being over an hour without any communication regarding the delay. Once we asked about our food, the server eventually brought my husbands dish wh... View all feedback.
Arepas, Ajiaco, Pao De Queijo, and the desserts yummm You have to rsvp for your ajiaco is not always in the menu. Love this place!!!
Adorably quaint with bench seating and pillows all overPretty dark and loud but the food makes up for anything.
The food here is so, so, so good! I came here with a group for brunch and we nearly ordered everything on the menu.
I absolutely loved this place! The ceviche was incredible; it was the most flavorful dish I've ever had—truly exceptional. The sliders were also fantastic and are a definite must-try! Don't miss out on the sea bass with heart of palm risotto; it was simply perfect! The ambiance and service were outstanding as well. I will definitely be returning!
Once we asked about our food, the server eventually brought my husbands dish which clearly had been prepared and waiting for a while because the plate was hot from sitting under a heat lamp, but mine still was delayed another 15 min. I have to admit the food was good, but the service and lack of communication was such a disappointment, we won't be going back.
