Recommended by business associate. Did not live up to his expectations. Very disappointed in food. If this is supposed to be NY Italian then I’ll pass. I had stuffed calamari not very good. Couldn’t even taste stuffing and sauce was a brown sauce overpowered with beans and very little taste of the sea. My csvatelli was pasty and dry. In fact all our pasta dishes were dry. The food was excellent. Service wasn't bad, wasn't great. The decor is quirky, but it works for them. Overall a little overpriced, but not egregious for NYC.
Menu very creative. wines excellent. service well paced.
Would go back again. Everything was prepared with care, flavors were good, service was fine. pumpkin tortelli was good, but not quite satisfying... Just short of what I was hoping for.
Truly a very special restaurant. Cozy but vibrant, this is an amazing neighborhood find that really knocks the cover off the ball in terms of food quality. I would highly recommend it!
The food is great, some items even amazing. The owner is very attentive and watches the floor for the slightest hint of a customer need. The restaurant itself is very small and the tables are close together. The wine we had was delicious! It is a wonderful Italian restaurant and we like to relax and enjoy the experience.
