The food was good. The service was anything but gracious. Fast enough. But cold and abrupt. Can fault the sushi, though. Very good. Fresh. Go for the food, but if you're looking for an experience, find someplace else. View all feedback.
What Alwayseating doesn't like about Amaze44:
I want to share that this is not the ideal spot for a quiet romantic dinner. On Friday and Saturday nights, it transforms into a club atmosphere with loud music and mostly young crowds enjoying drinks. View all feedback.
The food and service was excellent. The price for the lunch specials were well worth it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I would go back.
Took my out of town friend for dinner. The food was good, service was very good. I can’t say it was excellent, but I would recommend it for good Asian food and attentive service at a great price point.
Not elegant dining and hard to talk during lunch with noise level, but the food was decent and if in a hurry, service was quick.
Amaze knows how to handle a busy lunch crowd! Our party of 6 was seated, served and fed within 15 minutes of our arrival time. Booked a reservation so there was no wait time there either. The food is fresh the staff efficient and organized. I am never disappointed and was able to feed everyone for under $100 including tip! (full disclosure, we only had water as a beverage so that contributed to the savings) True to their name, this place truly is Amazing!
In a city chock full of incredible sushi restaurants, Amaze44 is a solid utility-player. Good fish that keeps you happy at lunch, but not a place to go for something special. They do have a mix of other pan-Asian food, but I didn't try. Ambiance is fairly utilitarian with tight tables. Again, great for lunch when you want good, but not great experience. Enjoy!
