This restaurant is a hidden gem in the heart of New Westminster (although it's on a steep street)! It's definitely worth the climb. The cozy atmosphere seems to be a hit with locals. This restaurant is a hidden gem in the heart of New Westminster (although it's on a steep street)! It's definitely worth the climb. The cozy atmosphere seems to be a hit with locals. When we visited, we were the only ones there. The sushi is made fresh to order and arrived quickly. I was impressed by the variety of sushi on offer. I wasn't sure if I could finish it all, but I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't overload the rolls with unnecessary fillings like other sushi places often do. The green tea was delicious and the sashimi was very fresh. The staff were also very friendly and attentive.
A few friends and I were in the mood for sushi, so we decided to try out this relatively new sushi restaurant on 6th Street in New Westminster. We arrived on a Friday just after noon, and the restaurant was still fairly quiet as they typically open at 11:30. We found a cozy corner to sit in and had a good view of the restaurant.
