Excellent authentic food served fast and hot. Singapore Fried noodle is to die for. Get it as hot or mild as you want. Not much ambiance ...as expected. but food is freakin' great! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about New West Wonton House:
Order went in at 2:36pm online. Tried to call them twice 10mins later to confirm my order and no answer. Finally got a call back at 2:55 to ask if I still wanted my order. Delivered at 4:15pm...good thing I wasn't that hungry...food was mediocre. House special Chow mein was subpar. It consisted of noodles broccoli and a little bit of shrimp. Order from Burnaby Palace if you can. View all feedback.
Great place for take out.. I was a bit skeptical when I walked into the place. The decor is dated and older. But I saw many deliveries and take outs going out the door, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered BBQ pork, wonton and noodles, ground beef and tofu with Chile oil on rice and Singapore style vermicelli noodles. It was very good. It's like a home cooked meal without dirtying your kitchen. We had so much food leftover that we were able to have a second meal the next day. Deliveries does take a long time, best choice is get take out. The owner is also very friendly and very nice. I ordered Take out again from them tonight.

I guess good food and respectful customer service is an oxymoron in this restaurant. Just when you think it’s not going to get worse, nope. My wife and I had an appalling experience with a female server (she’s Chinese who speaks some rudimentary Spanish, if...you could call it) this week. Basically there were more than a few open tables (Tuesday evening, you know) but she insisted to sit us in a tight middle table with hardly any elbow room, between other customers. We asked nicely for another table. To our dismay and horror she abruptly turned her back, mumbled something in Chinese, and walked away. Whoa... this server is beyond stupid. So we left! Not coming back and will for sure tell others. By the way I found out this restaurant was closed for a few weeks due to “renovation” (oh sure). Please check this restaurant’s Sanitation Complaint history report. We did. So eat at your own risk...
Amazing restaurant with affordable prices. I highly recommend the wonton soup and the spring rolls. Family friendly
