Mcdonald's - New Westminster

OK. After reviewing McDonald's Newton I thought the Edmonds location a 5 star! We always go here to drive. You always get it right, funds are friendly, food is fresh. They have high customer service standards here. The shop inside is always well maintained and no dirty tables lie compared to Newton. I'm not expecting much from McDonald's restaurant today, but this one, so far so good. (Compared to Newton in Surrey, worst Mcdonald's I've ever been to lol)

I live around the area so this is the McDonald my family and I goes to on a regular basis. They always misses items when I go drive through. When I do go in to order, they don’t acknowledge you unless you mention you need to order. They prioritize drive through orders first, which I understand but waiting for 10 mins to order it’s not acceptable.I ordered a cheese burger happy meal today. It came in a paper bag. When I ask the staff why it wasn’t in a box, she replied “that’s just the way it is.” Just then I see staff taking out 4 happy meals in a box outside for drive through orders. I can’t accept double standards and expect at least give me the box if you are too lazy to put in it. Not to my surprised my son’s cheese burger has no cheese and 6 piece nuggets was missing 1 piece. Their staff is nice but very poor management skills. I think cooperate should look into it.

I arrived at exactly 11am, January 6 2022. Had coupons for an Egg McMuffin meal and sandwich combo. Before my arrival I Googled what time McDonald's start serving burgers. (I know it is 11am, but I just wanted to be absolutely certain Google informed me it was 11am. Upon placing my order I was told that they don't serve sandwiches yet, as the assistant manager taking my order laughed at me. I looked at my clock, 11am on the dot. I replied, It's 11am. And what is so funny about that For the life of me, I don't know what is so funny to these type of women. I encounter it everywhere. I'm politely questioning them now, I genuinely would like to know!Anyway, my coupon was for a sandwich combo, medium fries and medium drink. I got the sandwich, but a small fries instead of medium. On the plus side, I did get a very fresh and tasty Big Mac, but I don't know why I got small fries.When you go to McDonald's, you know what you want, and they are usually very good with nailing the order. This experience was unusual. 2 stars for this location for poor service, messing up an order, and laughing at clientele, when they don't even know what time it is to start serving burgers.

There’s some malicious employees working at this McDonald’s we asked for no sauce we got a sandwich loaded dripping with sauce and our burritos were horribly packaged they were open on one end and all the insides were coming out and the manager said sorry but that doesn’t cut it the damage is done. At least we got the correct hashbrowns and they didn’t mess up the tea or the orange juice so I guess that’s something who knows maybe they spit in our drinks because they’re just that horrible

This McDonald is open late, has good staffing and a large parking lot! Drive through has always been smooth. If your order needs more time they ask you to park in the lot and they will bring it out to you. It's across the street from a Burger King and Cora. Me and Eds is on the same block. Just outside the busy area of Highgate shopping plaza. Lots of food delivery companies pick up from here.
