Ranchman's 23 Steakhouse and Saloon

The food was okay, but the service left much to be desired. Our group of five hungry hunters felt ignored as the waitress seemed more focused on the bar patrons. The atmosphere was nice, but the service was lacking and the food was average.

Last night we went out for dinner. We sat down and a few minutes later a waitress placed our menus on the table and told us it was busy. We looked through the menu and tried to decide what we wanted. After 10 minutes, another couple sat down right next to us. They placed their drink order, received their drinks and ordered their food. Meanwhile, we were still sitting there waiting and feeling ignored. We eventually got up and left.

We recently had a family dinner with 6 members at a restaurant in Seattle. Unfortunately, only three of the six meals we ordered were good. We were surprised to find that we had to pay extra for ranch sauce when we ordered 2 fried mushrooms, and also had to pay additional charges for pommes. The dishes that were supposed to be flavorful were disappointing, tasting more like something out of a package. The mashed potatoes were lumpy and the ribeye was overly crispy. Additionally, there were extra charges for onions and mushrooms, despite the menu stating a lower price. The fish dish was lacking in flavor and left us feeling unsatisfied. If you have a party of more than 5 people, be prepared for an automatic gratuity charge. I recommend sticking with the Ruben sandwich or fish and chips, as the burgers seem to be a safer bet. Great food, good prices. Friendly staff who were quick with service and a friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
