I just had the pleasure to spend a good week enjoying the excellent coffee and unique, fun yet relaxing atmosphere provided by Hunga Bunga Java. The proprietor is an incredibly funny, kind and personable woman who makes you feel at ease the moment you walk through the door. I'd recommend to ALL to take a special trip to Surf City NC just to visit Hunga Bunga Java. Starbucks shhmarbucks...Hunga Bunga blows them away!

Friendly smiling baristas serving the most delicious lattes , the finest coffee , and the kids lived the refreshing smoothies. We sat in the tiki setting and felt as if we never should leave the Topsail Island. This coffee bar is open all year long in an area where most shops shut down in the winter. Kudos to the owner for her creative ways and for hand picking such fantastic employees. We are now a member of the Hunga Bunga Tribe, so gimme sum a dat !!!!! 5 stars

(may Elmer bless his soul) The place however does have good recipes for topsail turtle soup which are printed on non recycled paper fresh from the finest and tallest trees from the rain forest.

The drinks are made to order with a smile and if you make more than one trip to the shop your hooked. The Personality of all the staff is unprecedented. The locals are just as lade back when getting coffee its hard to tell who is a local and who's on vacation! If your on Topsail Island stop in you want regret it! Thanks for letting me hang out Girls! I will be back soon to visit.
