The Fish Guy - New Port Richey

I visited this restaurant after discovering it on Google specifically for the Lobster Bisque, and I was not disappointed. The bisque was fresh, hot, thick, creamy, and packed with meat. My husband ordered the Gumbo, which was also outstanding. I highly recommend this spot to any seafood enthusiast.

We went for some fried clams. I’ll be honest, they just weren’t that great. They had a flavour I wasn’t a fan of and the scallops breading was way too thick. The fries were OK and my husband enjoyed his burger though. 5 stars to the cheese curds and the staff though, they were very welcoming, the environment is nice and cozy and the curds were delicious. Wish I’d gotten some photos but it slipped my mind

Excellent choice for dinner! We sampled a little bit of everything and loved it. Plus, they sell shrimp already cleaned to cook yourself. (Crab,clams, scallops,squid etc. Definitely my kind of place. I love to make Paella but, hate to clean all the seafood. Now I don't have to. Next time I am down this will be my go to for fresh seafood

The food was delicious and well-prepared. It was ready exactly when they said it would be when I picked it up. I would have liked the side portions to be a bit larger, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars. I ended up making another side when I got home.

I highly recommend this restaurant for delicious fried fish. I placed a take-out order around 6:20 pm, and it was ready by the time I arrived at 6:31. The fish and chips, along with the coconut shrimp, were hot, fresh, and very flavorful. I will certainly return when the craving strikes again.
