Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Absolute worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant. After being seated we waited twenty minutes before anyone acknowledged us and another hour until our food came. Our drinks sat empty and anything we needed or requested (napkins, ketchup) went ignored. My 4 year olds macaroni and cheese never came and after an hour and a half and ten requests for her food , the waitress came to the table with our check and said “the kitchen is not making the macaroni and cheese they’re basically just refusing “. She never offered a solution or a backup option. The entire table had eaten their food at this point and we had been waiting on food for nearly two hours ! We left the restaurant with a four year old crying in hunger and begging for macaroni and cheese. The manager offered no heartfelt apology and simply said the restaurant was “very busy “ and asked if we noticed that the kid meal had been comped. Umm, you mean the meal we ordered nearly two hours before that we never received ? Unreal.In addition to this , I ordered vegetable soup and it took the waitress 30 minutes to tell me that they ran out of it and had no soup available. This is odd considering it was 11:30 am when I ordered and lunch was just being served. I asked for a baked potato as a backup which was forgotten and arrived after everyone else was finished eating . The potato was cold and hard so I couldn’t eat it.After being there for two hours , we had to go to Panera Bread to eat since we left CB hungry.Save your time and money and avoid this place !!

Waitress was a little slow coming to the table. Menu changed was not happy eggs in a basket not on the menu. Too many specialties. Just wanted basic breakfast. Will go to Ihop next time.
