Contribute Feedback What Dan Florentin likes about The Peacock Cafe:
They close way too early so if you are there all day or after 4pm prepare for that as this is the only place to get food and drink, outdoor seating is nice but can be hot, peacocks roam freely so prepare to have a visitor while you eat. We had one peacock come right up to our table and watch us intently. They tell you to keep 10 ft away from them but no one told them lol View all feedback.
What Elizabeth Fixsen doesn't like about The Peacock Cafe:
Nice selection of food, and it was tasty. Pleasant ambiance. But servers were rude. They took someone else's order while I was still placing mine. And I had to practically beg to get a tray to carry my items out to the patio. View all feedback.
Friendly staff, great food selections, quick service. Shade and sunny areas outside, tables inside w/AC. Sometimes, mooching birds come up to your table!
It's exactly that, a cafe. Loads of peacocks around. Man they are loud.
For a small café, the food and snack selection is pretty decent and it includes fresh fruit bowls. The peacocks are just a wonderful bonus.
The best feature of coming here is the beautiful surroundings with the large glass windows. The menu items made in the kitchen are available until 3:00 pm, after that only the refrigerated salads, sandwiches etc. are available. I recommend that you come before 3:00 in order to have a full selection. It's overpriced for what you get, but you are supporting the Arboretum. There are a lot of tables and chairs outside where you can eat and enjoy the surroundings; unfortunately the peacocks may come up and try to get your food, which is what has happened to me in the past. So I usually eat inside.
