Baker's Country Store - New Milford

If you appreciate exceptional hospitality, charming old-world surroundings, and fantastic sandwiches, then this is the perfect place for you. My wife insists that the marinated whiskey steak sandwich is the best sandwich she’s ever had. She can be a bit dramatic at times, but I have to admit it was a substantial burger when I took a quick bite. The establishment does have a bit of an aged feel, which some might misinterpret as dirty or run-down. However, speaking from my family's experience, it felt quite the opposite. Regardless, if my wife and I return to Roxbury, we will definitely be stopping by again.

Came from Boston for a basketball tour and stayed here for breakfast before it went back and it was amazing. It was better than any home cooked meal I had in a while. It was nice to see a family-run breakfast place that has treated us so well as there are not many places like this in the fair. Thanks again!

The best. Good Deli. Small convenience storage with all clamps. filled/cooled beer available. They are always super friendly and helpful.

This is a fantastic and friendly spot where you can find everything you need. I had lunch here and also tried a few other meals. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable!

Definitely stop here for gas and a bite to eat! It's a fantastic little spot that features a convenience store with freshly made food while you wait—ranging from sandwiches and dinners to desserts and treats. They also offer gas, ice, and more. Plus, there are picnic tables available for a nice outdoor setting!
