It didn't feel very sanitary.... read more The waitress was using inappropriate language towards employees who were off the clock and had simply stopped by to grab a drink. It didn't feel very sanitary. I ordered a kids' meal, which only came with 10 fries. When I asked about it, I was told they had to weigh the fries. Where was the management during all this?

Taster's is a solid hometown restaurant that stands out for having the best pizza in town, by far. Their burgers and hot sandwiches are also quite good. However... read more Taster's is a solid hometown restaurant that stands out for having the best pizza in town, by far. Their burgers and hot sandwiches are also quite good. However, I do have a couple of complaints. They often seem to have issues with their ice cream machine, which is a bit frustrating. Additionally, the burgers are a bit on the pricey side for what they offer; it seems like they use frozen preformed patties rather than hand-shaped ones, though they are cooked to order. The food is consistently served hot, and I’ve never encountered any problems in that regard. I do wish they would consider elevating the overall ambiance—upgrading to nicer tables, giving the place a fresh coat of paint, or adding some curtains could really enhance the experience.

My only co... read more Taster's is a pretty solid local restaurant. They offer the best pizza in the city by a long shot, as well as quite tasty burgers and hot sandwiches. My only complaints are that they consistently seem to have issues with their ice machine, and the burgers are a bit pricey for what they are—I suspect they're using frozen, preformed patties rather than hand-formed ones. However, they do cook the burgers fresh when you order, so they're always hot and I've never had an issue with that. I just wish they would inject a bit more creativity into their offerings and invest in some nicer tables, a fresh coat of paint, new curtains, or something to elevate the atmosphere.
