Sushi Republic - New Hyde Park

We ordered takeout from this restaurant and got two types of sushi, pineapple chicken fried rice, and chicken hibachi. Our hibachi order got replaced with chicken teriyaki instead. The sushi was good, especially the prawns, tuna, and pepper salmon. The prawns and tuna sushi were good, but our favorite was the pepper salmon. We would definitely try more dishes from this place again.

I highly recommend choosing the all-you-can-eat option at this restaurant. There is a wide variety of dishes to choose from, and it costs $30.00 per person, which includes one drink.

I visited on a Saturday for brunch and opted for the all-you-can-eat sushi with hot tea. The menu includes options from both the kitchen and sushi menu. While the sushi was not particularly outstanding, the small plates were delicious. I especially enjoyed the vegetable dumplings and wontons. The only downside was that desserts were not included in the all-you-can-eat option, which was a bit odd.

Ive been coming here for years it always surprises me how good the sushi is given the prices. The fish and produce are fresh and the rice is well made. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. Everything is kept nice and tidy. Great spot!
