Skyline Diner - New Hyde Park

There is not much of a skyline near Skyline Diner in New Hyde Park on Long Island, but does not leave on restaurant names. While I was in New York, I had a dinner/breakfast in this diner. Two scrambled eggs, ash-browns and toast for $4 was not a bad deal with an overpriced diner...

I ate in a few days. These hands have been the best. This has the typical diner decoration. The menu has a variety of elements, but is not overwhelming. We had breakfast there. The food was delicious. The waitress was friendly and professional. She seemed to be really important if we enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxed. There is a small parking space behind the diner with street parking available. I wish more diners were like that.

All the years I've been eating here I only had one unfavorable experience my food order was totally botched out of many. The matter was resolved and I got a free drink too. This is a staple diner. Food is delicious. You can tell that the cooks take pride in their food. Wait staff is always pleasant. Prices are just right. The diner has perfected their formula for consistently and happy patrons. I'm glad they stick to the script!

Exceptional service and exceptional food. The environment is real cozy. The menu could be spiced up a bit, but it appeals to the elderly people (who are their frequent customers). It's nice and quiet to drink coffee/tea or an amazing soup..
