Omega Diner - New Hyde Park

From the moment I came by the diner, did I know I had to try? The prices are a little expensive, I would say, but the portions are worth it. The portions are huge! The place is very clean and the interior design is beautiful. It has an old guilt design with a touch of modern. The food is delicious and the waiters are attentive. I'd definitely go back. The place is also very spacious.

All we had was delicious. Our waiter was very nice. The hostess was also very nice!!

Location is beautiful, with parking! Diner is clean as at home! It was super rare to find this? Do you feel lately in New York so that this proximity is a jewel. The staff is friendly, right to the point, servings are satisfying and delicious! Overall, the experience is great!

Absolutely terrible service from the moment we came in. My husband and I came at 11:10 and we were greeted by an older gentleman with ?pick a booth, we close in 30 minutes.? You too. We sat and waited for about 10 minutes before a waitress approached us. We have kept our order in mind the 30-minute warning we receive on arrival. We ordered breakfast that you would accept would be hot or at least warm. Food came about 6-7 minutes later cold than ice. My meal had toast on the side that was used with butter. I can only assume it had been caught by another table. Absolutely disgusting and unbelievable that the waiter did not notice it when he broke it out. I pointed it out and he brought out new toast with unused butter. Then I was completely shut off from this place and hardly touched the meal I paid. At the first meal in this place and I will never be again. What a terrible experience. I am aware that we have arrived near the closing time, but I would rather have preferred them to turn us off instead of giving us this terrible service.

This is one of the better diner around the area with a good staff. I?ve been here several times and the food always came out in a timely manner and fresh. Not much more you can ask for in a diner. Nice restaurant to have a decent meal.
