We felt like we had stepped into a 1960s time capsule, but with all the modern amenities! We visited Lambertville/New Hope for some antiques and stumbled upon this delightful restaurant. What User doesn't like about New Hope Lodge:
The hotel has been closed for months due to COVID-19 yet online it doesn’t say so they let you book a room for stay and charge your credit card and then not even open after numerous attempts and phone calls which would not return as well as emails I found that the place was not open so I had to dispute the charges online with my credit card company because they don’t return calls morons View all feedback.
I almost don't want to check this place to keep it secret, but I can't. the best place to stay in new hope, hands down. the website is so quant and beautiful. if the pool and the bar is later opened, it will be even better. the rooms are cozy and comfortable and clean. the man who inspected us could not have been more friendly and was so helpful. he even came out to make sure my mother and happy mother's day wish. I will never stay somewhere else in new hope and can not wait to return. we were in room 16 and it was nice.
Perfect on hospitality. The room was great. The property is nice and wooded gives a great feeling. I love the porch to sit on and relax. Definitely recommend if in the area for any reason

I was very sad had stayed many times was run down and the pool was not open tragic.
If I could give this restaurant zero stars, I would! We stayed in room 18 on November 5th and when we entered our room, we were very disappointed. The room was in terrible condition. The light switch barely worked, causing us to look up and discover a light bulb covered in cobwebs. The room hadn't been cleaned in years, with hair all over the sink, backsplash, and on the cups wrapped in plastic. There was a large lump in the corner that appeared to have been overlooked for a long time. We even found broken nail clippers on the floor. We tried to find another room to stay in but everything was booked. We decided to stay in our day clothes, woke up early, and left as soon as we could. I spoke to the management, who refused to adjust the price or offer a refund. This level of service is unacceptable. Despite paying $222, we were not provided with a clean room. I would have been satisfied with a $50 refund as a gesture of goodwill. Customers deserve better treatment after paying such a high price.
