We took the old road through town since 63 now bypasses downtown. Stopped here for lunch. Food was uneven. The pork tenderloin was tough, but the hot beef sandwich and the hot turkey sandwich were very good. Service was excellent and the food can quickly. Will gladly return. View all feedback.
What TomHolly Njus doesn't like about Diner 63:
Usually have a good experience here, but today was served a gyro without the cucumber sauce. I waited 15 minutes for a side of sauce but finally just ate my cold, dry gyro. Why would they even serve it that way??? View all feedback.
I had high hopes for this restaurant, unfortunately those hopes were demolished. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed with our table and when we asked for syrup for our pancakes she scoughed and proceeded to leave out the front door. Ten minutes has passed by and still no syrup. I ordered 1/2 a broasted chicken I know it takes time to cook, and she brought out two wings (appetizers) and proceeded to tell us that they forgot to drop the chicken into the fryer. Everyone's cheese burgers were burnt and inedible. After about an hour and a half of waiting and still and we never asked for refills on our drinks. Our waitress was blaming the cooks for not speaking English and it just wasn't a pleasant experience. I couldn't wait any longer for my chicken, I told my son and wife let's leave and paid for their meals and left. Hopefully it was just a fluke of a day for the staff.

We visited the restaurant with a large family group for a late Saturday lunch. The menu offered a good variety of dishes, but many of the items we wanted to order were unavailable. It would have been helpful to know this beforehand, perhaps with some sort of indication on the menu so we could avoid wasting time deciding.
The diner is decent, though the pie is a bit pricey, likely due to the current economic climate. During our 3 PM visit, the food tasted fresh, which was a pleasant surprise. If you're ordering the tenderloin, I recommend asking for the gravy on the side to maintain its crispiness, especially if that's important to you.
The server was friendly, but we encountered a language barrier, which resulted in us receiving the wrong drinks. The French dip was not very warm and lacked cheese. The meat was dry and had a somewhat stale flavor. However, the soups were quite good.
