Over the years,,,as I have been going here for 40 years...the food has declined it can be hit or miss type of thing....back in the day it was always great. The atmosphere is your small town Pub...entertainment I think on Friday and Saturday nights Staff are friendly and engaging I did here the current owner is renovating so interesting to see how that all works out I encourage you to try it out for yourself View all feedback.
What Emiliano Legros doesn't like about E J'S At Baden Tavern:
My joined friends who live in Baden for a night out here, this place though busy really does need to shake it up some, menu and food choices are lacking, even drink list is poor, nice spot to sit and chat though most times, but like always you decide, prices are still to high for what you get,oh well cheers View all feedback.
Excellent meal, great service. The Cajun/creole pasta was wonderful, a huge portion. My granddaughters ordered the Mac and cheese (again! , and the server was very patient with them when it came to deciding what topping they wanted on the ice cream dessert!
My husband and I dropped in for a late lunch. There were no diners in the restaurant but there were a few regulars seated at the bar. The atmosphere was extremely cozy. I wish the fireplace was on, though Our hostess was very friendly and attentive. She even told us not to rush and that we could have stayed as long as we liked. I would have stayed all day, if I could! I had the Greek salad and it was definitely the best Greek salad I have ever had. It was full of fresh vegetables, Greek olives and feta. The dressing was amazing. My husband had the pulled pork poutine. This was also delicious! There was lots of meat, sauce and cheese curds. The fries were super tasty. We will definitely be back!
Went for dinner had the large schnitzel 2 pieces with mushrooms and cheese. Service was fast and efficient. Bar was noisy.
Me and three of my friends had just completed 18 holes at Foxwood and came to EJ's for a cold one and bite to eat. Our waitress was very good about bringing us a couple pitchers of water, because we were extremely thirsty from being on the links. We all ordered something different from flat breads, quesadesa's or a burger and everyone enjoyed their meals. What I do miss with this new ownership are the two for one Wednesday nights for wings. EJ's has very good wings and a good selection. Their wings are nice and plump and meaty, however I do find them somewhat more expensive. Would be nice to see the special reappear!
Excellend Pub Food. Wings rank with the best of the best. Nostalgic.. One of the oldest hotels in Canada still operating the original pub. Castle Kilbride (National Parks) is across the stree with statues of many Prime Ministers. The service was amazing too. Anyone who gives this place a poor report is just having a very bad day.
