Cavendish Lobster Shack - New Glasgow

After we had a delicious lobster meal for lunch on the island, we ordered some fish N chips, DON’T. the fish was fresh but overcooked and the teig was coarse and tasteless. the fries were the kind that are coated with something and we are not crisp, but soggy. the grinding time was accompanied by the absolute smallest, wee part of the coleslaw I have ever seen, really it was, but one tablespoon served the half filling of a very small plastic container. the same amount of teersauce together with it. we ate each less than half our meal. I know that it is a tourist destination, but some respect for us would be appreciated.

The chowder here is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The fries are amazing. The lobster roll is fantastic. Really, I can’t say enough good things about this location, we absolutely loved it. This restaurant gave us everything we hoped for visiting the east coast. Amazing seafood and east coast hospitality. The woman working here is super nice, and offered great customer service. Thank you Cavendish Lobster Shack, you are a highlight of our trip!

Recently came here with my family. The food and staff were amazing! Fresh, tasty and portions were plentiful! Great seafood restaurant. Highly recommend!

Heart of the fun filled tourist destination! This resto knows what PEI is about, delicious food and friendly excellent service, the nautical ambiance is cozy too! Adam our server is the best! You gotta have the steamed lobster meal with PEI mussels. The best! We sure will be back again!
