Nice little hole in the wall. Good bartenders, (Kyle is great and quick to set you up with a cold beer), good bar food. All reasonably priced. Atmosphere is nice, non smoking (inside) which is great if you like to go out for the evening and not come home smelling like an ash tray! Sometimes you can catch live music here as well. Interesting. Here's one of those places I wish Urbanspoon had a 50/50 as button. Because I'm here at the fence. I voted as now, because I really want to like it. Mostly we had a bad first time there. Also for the record this is not the place it used to be! I remember growing up in the early 80s when my father and his friends would go here. At that time it was a restless place. No more so much, a younger friendly crowd. We stop in one night after we have the dog for a walk on the railway path (yes, you may have your dog there. Just have to sit outside. I went in to see a server take our order and was told by the bartender that there was none that he was the only one who works.. We chose a chicken sandwich for me and Danielle a Reuben. Go back inside and get another beer. Luckily the bartender brought us the food. My chicken sandwich was okay, the salad was kind of old. Dani's reuben was just terrible. The meat was slimy and had this purple color, the old meat begins to get. She really didn't want to do anything about it, but it looked really bad. She complained and the owner came out to apologize to us. He said the cook had bought the meat fresh (I have very doubts), but agreed it looked bad. He took it back and gave her a free order of hot wings. He told us he would complicate everything, but the beer that was cool with me. We said we'd go back and try again. Apart from the food question, I didn't like them to have a server for outside, could only have been on that day. I refuse to eat inside or drink as his place that was chosen to allow smoking. And there's no airflow in there. Oh, and either they don't have AC or it was broken because it was hot as you know what inside! Hmmm, maybe I should change my voice to not like it. No, I'll give him a chance.
When in the late afternoon. It was nice and it wasn't full. But for my understanding it is extremely crowded in the night.
The honey siracha wings are absolutely the Bomb you gotta go here and try them it ur a wing conoisior. Bartenders top notch. A cozy tavern..Love!
Always a great place to get a beer after a ride on the rail trail.
Awesome place!! Great Staff and FAST SERVICE! HIGHLY recommend. Prices are spot on. See you there!
