The Waterford restaurant had been closed for some time we were not told this when booking and ended up in the Scottish steak restaurant , which is mediocre and not fine dining. View all feedback.
During our stay at the hotel, we dined at this restaurant. At first, we were a bit hesitant as we were one of only two tables reserved for the evening. However, this worked out in our favor as we were seated at a window table with a lovely view of the grounds. The fixed-price 3 course menu had a good selection, and the food was both delicious and beautifully plated. The service was attentive but not overbearing. Overall, the food was worth the price paid. The only downside was that the wine was on the pricier side.
Our experience at this restaurant went beyond what we had anticipated. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was of high quality. I highly recommend it.
