We had booked via a voucher for afternoon tea for 4 people and the tea was really disappointing. We had 4 scones and cream and jam and a choice of a slice of cake each. read moreNestled in a charming venue, the restaurant boasts a picturesque setting paired with friendly, attentive staff, creating a welcoming atmosphere for diners. While many patrons rave about the delightful afternoon tea and hearty meals, experiences can be mixed. Some have found the food tepid or lacking in flavor, particularly during busy hours. However, the overall quality of dishes like fish pie, lasagne, and the well-prepared Christmas meals has garnered praise. With plenty of parking and a vibrant ambiance, this spot remains a popular choice for gatherings, promising a memorable outing despite occasional hiccups in service or food quality.

I have no complaints. The average cost per person is £20-30. The food is top-notch, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Highly recommend.
