The Old Farmhousee - New Forest

We visited the restaurant on Friday, December 22nd. I was pleased to see that the overly loud volume of the TV has been turned down. Both of us ordered the Fish and Chips, which were very good. We tried to order through the App but it didn't work, although this was not the fault of the pub. This meant I had to wait at the bar for a while, but it was a busy Friday night and it seemed like they were short-staffed. A band started playing at 8:30, they were quite good and not too loud, so if you wanted it to be louder you could stand closer to them. The dining room was not too loud with the band playing. Overall, the experience was much improved and we enjoyed it. One suggestion: there was a TV showing football in the dining room, but nobody was watching it. It may be better to remove it. We will continue to support this place as it is now one of our favorite spots in the neighborhood.

We live just around the corner from The Farmhouse, but have always hesitated to dine there due to its poor reputation. In the past, the pub was known for its smoky atmosphere, slow service, and overall lack of cleanliness, making it a less-than-ideal dining spot.

We visited yesterday the hungry horse (the old farmhouse), after we did not there for possibly years. we were greeted with a smile and transformed into a flawless escapade. since we had not eaten there lately, the menu was explained and we were asked to pay for the cash. it was really obvious that every area was sanitary, and when we left a co-worker, we went to our table to clean it. our meal was great, and definitiw super worth. during the meal another worker came and checked that everything was in order,Can't wait to be back in the opposite, and nip inmany thanks to all the staff there.

Really good, we'll visit again when we're back in the opposite. when they had a very busy day with a wake, the workers were still happy, foods were excellent, hot and good, and they all worked very hard, despite almost every table taken.

Very busy as near Christmas but everything was perfect and served on time. Server was exceptional.
