What Scott M doesn't like about Shapla Tandoori Takeaway:
This was my first experience with Shapla Tandoori. I ordered the lamb biryani and was disappointed to find the lamb to be tough, possibly 3 or 4 days old. The worst part was discovering what appeared to be a piece of already chewed meat in my meal. Needless to say, I will not be ordering from them again. I advise against using this takeout option. I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff member I spoke to when ordering my takeaway seemed disinterested, and when I picked up my order, the service was equally unfriendly. The prices were high compared to what we were used to at the original Shapla. The food quality was not great - the poppadums were dry, the samosas were expensive for the portion size, and the Bhutanese curry was bland. Overall, due to the high cost, poor food quality, and lack of good customer service, I will not be returning.

I am so glad that Shapla is back! The food was fantastic and the flavors of the spices were amazing. We ordered 3 meals, as well as starters and mains, and everything was perfect. I couldn't find any faults with our experience.
Been going to Shapla for many years the new management did not disappoint. Very friendly my Chicken Tikka Jalfrey I ordered was great
Been going to Shapla for over 24 years, and tonight I revisted the place that sold the best curry I've ever had. But unfortunately this was nowhere near Shapla. Don't think the name shapla should be above the door:
