I had a great time at this restaurant! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the bouncers were friendly and attentive. Unlike some other places in town, they were not intimidating or disrespectful, which was a nice change. My favorite bouncer was the tall one. What Mr Terrific doesn't like about Portofino Hythe:
The food looked good when it was served, but it was lacking in flavor. My main dish was bland and the seasonal vegetables were disappointing. It seemed like the focus was on appearance rather than taste. View all feedback.
The cocktail bar is a fun place to go, but can get really busy. Good downstairs is good. Wild mushroom risotto was delicious.

The food and service at this restaurant were exceptional. I highly recommend it and would definitely return.
Wednesday evening was very quiet in there. Atmosphere was a bit lacking. Food was ok. Calzone was mostly air.
Lovely starter full of flavour, sunday roast was amazing.
