Such a cute little homey restaurant, breakfast was amazing best hash browns! Would recommend to anyone in town. Only downside is that we live an hour and a half away View all feedback.
What Michael Buell doesn't like about The Artisan Taproom:
Actually a pretty good find in a very small town off us 31. It wasn't very busy. My friend had the bgt and I had a wrap. Both were freshly made. There were a lot of Greens in my wrap. A little more meat might have been helpful. But everything was very fresh. I don't remember a lot of sides being available. No alcohol but some interesting fresh juice drinks. I don't remember any desserts but I saw a sign for cupcakes... View all feedback.
This place is such a gem! Fresh food in the middle of an area where that's hard to find. Great for vegetarians and meat eaters too. Also, there's a Latin twist so you can get an amazing burrito as well. Aka that fresh juice is amazing as well. Yum!!!

We were looking for something different for lunch. The Artisan Cafe was an accidental stop. The restaurant is clean and stylish. It wasn't crowded and the staff is small and friendly. I only saw Two people. We ordered the Cuban Sandwich special-$12.00. It sandwich is on a thick butter toast. I'd call it a Cuban style sandwich. It was delicious and big enough for two.It was a little on a pricey side but it was a nice experience.
The customer service was horrible. The waitress was aggravated with our table for asking questions about the specials. She was very short with us and definitely didn't want to be there. She bad mouthed other customers to other tables. There was a group of guys that came in and when they asked for a waitress they were told if you didn't like the wait to go somewhere else. So they did. Then she proceeded to bad mouth them. So this sign by the register sums up the attitude of this place. If you're not a regular be ready to I be treated poorly, because if regulars were treated this way I assume they would come back.P.S. the food was good
This place is a great local luncheonette with quality breakfast. We stopped by after a festival in Rothbury, and it is quaint and filling.
