I recently moved back to the area and made a list of restaurants to try. Hill’s was one of them. I had an errand to run in Monongahela so decided to stop for lunch today. It did not disappoint. My dad hasn’t stopped talking about how good the bacon cheeseburger he had was. I had the chicken parm hoagie. The service was good. The restaurant was clean. I would eat hear again if in the area when they are opened.
Fast and super friendly service. Great potato soup and sautéed cabbage with dumplings! Yummy My simple breakfast sandwich was so good!
Other than the card machine at the counter this place is like walking into a time machine. The decore the setup. I loved a place just like this that my mom would take us to when i was a small child... when eating out was a special treat; sadly thatrestaurant is gone. But Hills Restaurant is still here! Food is simple but comes hot and tasty. The old pictures in the boothand the mid modern century feel is worth a try.????
