I have been there many times for dinner and get my morning coffee on my way through almost every day. Frank the owner and licenced chef always has a fresh pot brewing.

Drive from Kitchener every Friday night, since June 2016, for a tasty home cooked meal! Great chef, great fresh food!
Had a treasures book coupon .. decided to try. So glad we did .. family of 4 .. we all very much enjoyed the relaxed family atmosphere. Not at all crowded like chain restaurants on a Saturday evening. "Down home" (Newfie reference for all my island friends ) kinda friendly service and food. Hearty and generous portions. Definitely worth the short drive to plattsville from KW. GO !! Pictures are our half eaten meals lol .. ;)
Without a doubt, the best spaghetti I have ever tasted.
