This is a little cafe, peacefully situated in Lodhi Colony. View all feedback.
I landed up at this place after a little bit of exploration of Lodhi Art District with my cycling group from Dwarka. As we all rode till Lodhi Colony from all the way to Dwarka, we were all hungry for some delicious food. We had ordered filter coffee for everyone along dosa and vada.<br/ <br/ Needless to say, our tastebuds and stomach both were equally satisfied. Apart from that, we also ordered a Kesari halwa which also turned equally delicious and satisfying. <br/ <br/ The best part is that it opens by 8, so cyclists like me who are going anywhere near Lodhi road can hop on to this place for a quick review.
One of the best South Indian Foods in Delhi. Service is very good.
I went with my friend for lunch so talking about the place the sitting arrangements are good I usually sit upstairs because I love there,I ordered dahi vada, chocolate nut sundae, chili idli, plain dosadahi vada was very tasty and chocolate sundae was just too yummy, plain dosa was also good and chili idli were little dry , service is good and everyone is friendly, so as it is famous for south Indian do try it ,they make the best of it!!

A lovely find hidden in the Lodhi market chanced upon courtesy Google Explore and reviews on Google maps. I think it important enough to pay it forward and hence the review. The place is small with a seating capacity of not more than 28-30 at a time and is cramped for space. The entrance is rather narrow as well and while the place has a hand-wash not sure if it has a washroom. But it more than makes up for the all the shortcomings through the warmth and hospitality and the fresh and tasty food served. It's a traditional south indian place but seems to have some innovations up its sleeve as well which are known as Chidambaram's best.As soon as you are seated, hot and spicy rasam is served to whet your appetite and palate. We ordered a Ragi paneer dosa and special 3 Uthapams, both from the Best collection which were a pleasant surprise in terms of the taste. These two items were more than sufficient for the two of us and while we were quite hungry it was a struggle to finish the items. There are 3 chutneys served alongside, the usual coconut chutney but with an unusual twist, the green chutney which is spicy and the red chutney which was a very welcome add-on not just because of the taste but also as it's made from tomato, beetroot, chilli. We got some lemon rice packed for the kids and it was delicious too. The meal was closed with a cup of hot filter coffee which was nice and strong.A fantastic place for a lovely south Indian meal. Not an upscale or fancy place but has all the basics right! Go digin and enjoy.
