Don?t be fooled by some of the lackluster photos here. This place really hits the spot and trust me you will get a lot of food. We were driving back to NY and in the mood for a steakhouse off the I-80. After ordering our steaks we had access to a buffet with yummy southern options. What Glenzuriah S doesn't like about Bonanza:
Food was great was delivered hot and was cooked well however if I order a "32oz" pepsi I received a coffee cup of soda this is the second time this has happened but I refuse to pay for a full size drink and not even get half the size listed View all feedback.
I use to like the buffet ,but fried was flatting some how the menu haven't change at all ,but I enjoyed those cookies the were the best cookies I have tasted in years.
Dinner at the buffet was very good today. Vegetables had good taste and were well cooked. Our waitress was very good and often came back to take away plates, refill drinks. The ice machine didn't work, but the whole food was good in stock and tasted very good.
Always enjoyed Bonanza when you are on and off Route 15 from the northern PA. Excellent food!
The fried chicken on the buffet was raw and smelled like it was sitting in the heat for days! Do not recommend going here. I hope I got the chicken away from my kids before they consumed any. And as I read the reviews them serving raw chicken seems like a regular thing. Terrible.
Can’t beat the value here. had the buffet and enjoyed some good home style food with plenty of choices. The salad bar was one of the best I’ve had. All at a very reasonable price.
