Norcina - New City

I urge you to bring back the seared octopus to the menu! I was really disappointed to discover it had been removed. In my opinion, it was the best dish you offered. Please consider adding it back!

I have dined at this restaurant about nine times, and I can confidently say the pizza and pasta are delicious. The service is excellent, and my drink was fantastic. My nephew and I even shared a salad, which was great. I can't wait to go back!

Update: In a predictable move, the manager responded in the way I anticipated. We had called the restaurant ahead of placing our delivery order to ensure that the pasta dish would be meat-free. The hostess who took our call advised us to include that request in the notes, which we did. Unfortunately, there was only one space for notes, and we filled it as instructed. Even if a restaurant is managing multiple ordering platforms (like DoorDash, Uber Eats, GrubHub, etc.), which can be overwhelming, the fact that we followed their instructions and then were refused a replacement dish without meat—along with the overly defensive response from the manager when we called—is frustrating. I’ll leave it up to you to decide whether to visit Norcina.

Chef Eric has truly transformed Norcina into a restaurant that caters to every member of the family! The children's menu is thoughtfully crafted with their tastes in mind, while traditional Italian food enthusiasts will find plenty of familiar and comforting options as well. Chef Eric also brings a fresh and innovative approach to Mediterranean cuisine, offering unique takes on pasta dishes, pizza toppings, and creative twists on classic menu items. The result? Everything is delicious! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, genuinely invested in the restaurant's offerings. I believe they are encouraged to sample the dishes so they can provide the best recommendations to patrons about the fantastic choices available at Norcina!

The best service in the county and the food is always delicious. Make sure to have a pizza- any pizza- you'll thank me later.
