Arrived just before 5:30pm this evening and it took 20 minutes to even get greeted by the waitress. There were about 5 tables in the dining room so busy, but nothing crazy. Got our beverages then ordered. As time passed the waitress spilled ranch dressing onto the dining room floor right next to our table and after just ignoring it for several minutes, I observed her just smush it into the carpet with her shoe. Didn’t wipe it up, spray it down or anything which was very disturbing. 75 minutes later our table finally received our food. No apologies for the wait or explanation whatsoever. It appeared waitress forgot to put our order in because other tables who arrived after us received their food. When the food finally arrived I got a steak salad which was ok and my daughter got wings which were not very good. Very saucy with little taste. Had to ask repeatedly for refills so service overall was very bad on this night. Based on poor service, lack of cleanliness inside, and average food we will not be returning to this establishment.

I opted for the Cedars Combo. While I appreciate cheese, I prefer my lamb to be purely lamb. My wife, Linda, however, enjoyed the cheese with her lamb dish, and after tasting it, I have to say it was outstanding. The combo also features chicken, which was quite good, but the lamb truly steals the spotlight here. I've never had any problems with the lamb at Cedars. My wife orders it medium, which always arrives perfectly pink, while I prefer my lamb medium-rare, and it's always cooked just right. The cooks here consistently nail it. These meals come with a small cup of garlic sauce, which I always use. Surprisingly, the sauce isn’t overwhelmingly garlicky. The bread served is a wedge of Syrian loaf. I find myself dining at Cedars almost as often as I do at Edwards, but I tend to choose Cedars when I’m in the mood for lamb. The menu may be smaller, but there’s something for everyone, and they offer a fantastic selection of draft beers ranging from PBR to various microbrews. I’ve never had a bad meal here, nor one that wasn't served hot.

I ordered the Kibee and Grape leaves plate, my husband ordered the Lamb and rice. My food was cooked perfectly, and the portions were very filling. His lamb looked delicious and he said it was the most tender, juicy lamb he's ever had. We had Garlic fries and onion rings for appetizers. The garlic fries were heavily covered with garlic and I absolutely loved it, while my husband could have done with a bit less garlic. You can tell that they were hand-cut fries and they were delicious. Our beers were icy cold and the waitress was attentive and helpful. We went before the dinner rush on a Tuesday so it was quiet and peaceful. Don't be fooled by the Dive Bar Vibes or the neighborhood. Looks are quite deceptive and the food was amazing. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options, but you really have to look for things and ask for substitutions. Parking: The parking lot is full of potholes and it was not an enjoyable experience for our tiny car. The alley beside the parking lot is also full of potholes. Kid-friendliness: The area is very wide open and roomy so you can have plenty of space for the whole family. Wheelchair accessibility: The front entry looks like you are walking up to someone's home. There are steps and no room for a wheelchair. The back entrance has a wheelchair ramp, but it's not very wide and neither is the door to get inside.

My wife liked her lamb,my steak salad was the best I have had, service was good They were busy. Took off a star because my wife couldn't get wine while I got beer. Stupid Pa liquor laws. Took of another star as we had to keep chasing flies off our food, andthe place was very loud.

Wanted somewhere new to go eat last night and found Cedars on Google. I have a new favorite dive bar restaurant now! The service was fast and friendly and the food was absolutely AMAZING! I ordered the Pittsburgh Sandwich (chopped steak and it wasbetter than Primanti 's (I 'm craving one now, just thinking about it! And deep fried green beans, which were super yummy and notsoggy, like you usually get at other places...the dipping sauce for the beans (I can 't remember what they call it wasdelicious! Everything on the menu sounded really good.... I can 't wait to go back!
