I have been a loyal customer for many years, starting back when they were located in our small town of Pound Ridge. While their cheese selection is exceptional (I personally love the Beaufort d'ete), there is so much more to discover at Plum Plums. Their charcuterie offerings, like the bresola and mortadella, are favorites of mine, and they also carry incredible dry-aged steaks that save me a trip to the butcher. Additionally, I always stock up on olives, nuts, and chocolates while I'm there - creating a European epicerie atmosphere with a unique twist. The owners are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They are always willing to explain the different products, share stories about the cheeses, and even offer tastings to help customers find their perfect match. The grilled cheese sandwiches are to die for, especially the one with gruyere, prosciutto, and a special senf that makes it the perfect panini. Paired with their delicious tomato soup, it's a classic and satisfying lunch option. I highly recommend Plum Plums and wish them continued success in their beautiful new space in New Canaan.
