What Brian and Jackie doesn't like about Cherry Street East:
Horrible, poor quality food. Mac and cheese looked and tasted like it came out of a Kraft box. My chicken sandwich was gross and the salmon was raw, despite asking for well-done. Very poor quality ingredients at premium prices. I’m really unsure how this places has stayed in business since the 70’s in New Canaan of all places.Fine as a bar, not as a restaurant. I've been going to Cherry St East since it opened. Great food and service. Wonderful burgers and taco salads!
I have have been coming here lately for the last 6 months taking my father here for lunch. Cherry Street has been a locals favorite for many years. The food has been consistently great and as advertised. The service is excellent and always makes you feel welcome and like a local. If you are looking for an excellent bar and grill this is the place.
Never had a bad meal or experience. Great staff, nice atmosphere, juicy burgers.
