What Lenny doesn't like about Clydz:
We went there on a Thursday evening around 8:30 pm. Parking was very difficult to find. I ended up parking in a lot a few blocks away. I entered into the bar and had to look around to find the dining room. When we first got to the dining room, there was no one available to seat us. We had the alligator in a blanket as an appetizer. It was well presented and tasty. My wife got the duck breast which she enjoyed. I got... View all feedback.
One of my fav places for tasty American food. Got there near five, it wasn't very busy. The staff was very sociable and kind. The prices are good for what you get. Reminds me of a cafe in Chicago I loved to visit.
Best martinis. Service and atmosphere are excellent. Food delicious. Looking forward to going back

My first few trips to Clydz really spoiled me because they were still serving their more exotic dinner menu python and bison and alligator. In the past, Clydz was the spot to be because of the unique culinary experience that it provided. Unfortunately, the menu changed and no longer includes these things but there’s still plenty of other reasons to give this spot a try. The new menu still offers plenty of delicious foods if you’re a grilled cheese lover, you MUST try the bacon and Brie grilled cheese sandwich. With no exaggeration, it was life changing. The bar offers plenty of classics and also some more interesting options if you feel like getting fancy. The drink menu is so expansive you’re guaranteed to find something you love. Overall, Clydz is on the pricey side but well worth it for the atmosphere, great food, and delicious drinks. I will forever miss the retired exotic menu, but I’ve had too many good times here to break up with it over that.
Amazing spot! The best of hidden gems full of history vibrant memories. Talk to anyone in New Brunswick and they'll have a story about a great night at Clydz. Happy Hour weekdays 4-7p and the food staff are top notch
