Chico”s - New Brunswick

This restaurant is not fancy, but it feels like you're sitting in your grandma's kitchen in the countryside. I absolutely love eating here. The prices are great, and it seems like a husband and wife run the place - the husband serves and takes orders while the wife cooks. This is a must-visit for anyone looking for authentic Dominican cuisine.

We ordered a mofongo with fried pork and a mofongo with shrimp. The dishes arrived lukewarm and after a long wait. Unfortunately, my mofongo had a thick, long, black hair in it. They replaced it with a new one without offering an apology. Our total bill came to $42 for two mofongos, and still no apology was given.

Its ok for the prices, great tastings good , place need remodeling but ok beside that

I tried the seafood soup and waited for an hour. The soup was okay, but overall the experience and price weren't worth it. The atmosphere was sketchy, with a group of young people making me feel uncomfortable. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place. The cleanliness of the area was also a concern. I give it two stars solely for the decent soup.

Okay, no sitting and eating. It is a place to go, but the food!!!!!!! It's like you're in your grandmother's kitchen in DR in Campo! Delicious!!!!!!! Love loves eating here. The prices are great. Looks like it's a man and a woman. Husband serves and packs and woman cooks. This is a must to pick up Dominicans.
