The Longhorn Cafe - New Braunfels

This review is focused on the cleanliness of the restaurant. It was described as very poor, with issues ranging from the dirty soda station to the unclean tables and lack of toilet paper in the restroom. The trash bins were overflowing and the bathroom stall had a broken lock with no toilet paper. The busboy walked around twice without clearing any tables and dumped trash on the floor. The images included in the review only show a fraction of the uncleanliness witnessed. The food on the other hand was described as average and hot, with the fried mushrooms being a standout dish. It appears that there is a lack of management in assigning tasks related to sanitation and cleanliness at this establishment.

The chili dog at this restaurant had a strange and unexplainable taste, possibly due to too much or the wrong spices being used. It also came with a surprising side of fried okra mixed with tater tots. Overall, my experience was not as enjoyable as I had hoped. Despite trying various items on the menu multiple times, I have not become a big fan of this establishment. I really wanted to like their food, as the atmosphere is very comfortable.

I forgot to take a picture of the food, but I had the chili cheese burger and it was delicious. My friend ordered the big juicy burger and it looked amazing. I'm visiting from out of town and I would definitely bring my family to this nice little family-run restaurant.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. The burgers were delicious and the service was relatively fast. My wife and I ordered two hamburgers, one with fries and the other with onion rings. Everything was tasty and the prices were fair. We visited again on July 2, 2022 and the burgers were still excellent. We also tried the onion rings this time and they were fantastic!
