The General Tso's chicken was excellent—just the right level of sweetness, unlike many other places. The chicken was firm and crispy rather than soft. The egg roll, fried rice, and egg drop soup were all really good as well. Although it resembles an old fast food restaurant converted into a Chinese eatery, if ambiance isn't a concern, I'd rate this place a perfect 10/10. View all feedback.
What Nicole Gonzalez doesn't like about Delicious Garden (new Braunfels):
We were not impressed by anything. Lots of tables needed to be cleared of dishes, staff yelled back and forth to each other, there's no table service except when they deliver your food (you must get your silverware drinks yourself), the spring rolls had no flavor, the saucy entrees, I suspect, are from frozen. I didn't hear a wok being used after we or anyone else ordered. In fact, the kitchen was eerily quiet. The f... View all feedback.
My wife and I had food from here last night. It was horrible along with being $70.00 for two entrees and fried rice. We threw most of it away. We will never return. I hope the owners of this restaurant take heed and get things right for their own sake.
The WORST Chinese place I’ve had ever. Just got back from eating there 1/7/23… paid 45$ for two entrees and two soups! Ridiculous! Everything tasted nasty no flavor what so ever it was empty in there and it makes sense why it’s empty. People behind us took two bites and left. Only good thing I had was the egg drop soup my crab Rangoon’s had no crab in them. Never go save your money we regret it don’t need anyone else to regret it too.
I saw a review on this earlier and had to check it out. The best hot and sour soup I have ever tasted. It is one of my favorite soups so I tried alot in my travels in finding Chinese food places. The quantity of food was generous. I have another meal for tomorrow. I will definitely be a frequent flyer.Food: 5/5
So I was on the way to go get my order and my car broke down on the way. Food was the last thing I worried about at the time. After for an hour I made calls trying to get someone to come get me. After that hour I get a call from the resturant mad at me because the food sat there for an hour waiting. I explained I broke down and the man on the phone was married about the cold food. The guy should've felt bad and been sympathetic alittle bit but instead decided to mumble off unkind words and then hung up after I apologized several times. I used to eat there 3 times a week now it will be 0 times a week.
Carry out. We had the General Tso’s chicken and the Sesame chicken. The chicken was old and stringy or overcooked. Yuk! Rice was hard. Eggroll was good.Food: 1/5
