Coronado's Sweet Heat Bbq

I discovered this restaurant on Google and decided to take a detour during my road trip to try some highly-rated Texas BBQ. The brisket sandwich, accompanied by a side of sauce, surpassed my expectations and made the long drive worthwhile. Additionally, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly! We ordered from this BBQ food truck for the first time, and it was absolutely fabulous! We tried the ribs, sausage, baked beans, and potato salad. The ribs were meaty and tender, packed with flavor, and the dessert—blueberry glory—was to die for. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this food truck!

As a lifelong Texan, I consider myself a barbecue connoisseur, and I can confidently say these ribs are among the best I've ever had. They’re cooked to a perfect pink, practically falling off the bone, and they practically melt in your mouth. The seasoning is spot on, and that sauce… oh, that sauce. "Sweet Heat" is an apt name; it makes Sweet Baby Ray’s taste bland in comparison and leaves just the right amount of kick to make every bite absolutely worth it. And the dessert? Those blueberry buckles are absolutely divine. They’re basically a double layer cheesecake topped with blueberry pie filling and some enchanting twist that I can't quite place, and the portion size is very generous for the price. The guy at the counter mentioned it's his mom's family recipe. 10/10 would absolutely eat here again. I definitely will be back.

The pasta salad is AMAZING! The brisket is flawless! I absolutely love this place; the staff is friendly and very attentive to customers. This is the best food I've had in a long time!
