This is the most authentic German food we've had in the area! The sausage plate and schnitzel are amazing. They have a great selection of German beer. On the weekends they have live music. View all feedback.
This place is located in a historic house in the inner city of new brownfels and has 100% legit German food and atmosphere! all foods are more than amazing and cooked to order. they can literally hear them in the kitchen that robs the meat for the carving. the menu has a fairly limited selection, but we liked that as it shows that they are on what they do. on the other side is the beer menu extensive and 90% German beer! the room itself is cozy and they even had an accordion player coming to the end of our visit to play and sing. only at the bottom we were really on dessert (especially the apfelstrudel), but they had run out of all desserts. the dessert manufacturer cooks only once a week and it was recommended to come with the week when they want dessert. overall we loved this place and will be back!
The authentic German food at this restaurant was incredible! The ambiance, music, and service all contributed to making it an unforgettable culinary experience. I highly recommend the fried brie, Wiener schnitzel (pork) with spatzle, and a side of sour cream gravur and red cabbage. Everything was homemade and deliciously authentic. On Sunday evening, there was live entertainment with an accordion player who also sang. Our server was fantastic and gave us great recommendations. Unfortunately, they were out of dessert, but we look forward to trying it next time!
Wonderfully raised such a warm and welcoming place, everyone is friendly and attentive and eating is from this world. I recommend the carving with late zle and a side of the sour wort; he will bring them to other areas. the menu is quite limited, but this is a good thing; do what they do well and it better than any other. the place itself is in a historic building and is very cozy. the portions are quite large, so they come hungry. eat – 5/5 price – 5/5 service – 5/5 ambiente – 5/5
I fought here for a work lunch. we ordered all three appetizers and they were delicious. the service was excellent. eating was incredible, hunter carving, my favorite, best German food I ever had!
The fried Brie is a must-try. Just looking at these photos, it looks so delicious. The Jager Schnitzel was also amazing. Unfortunately, when we went on a Sunday, they had run out of desserts due to a busy weekend. Hopefully, next time we visit, we'll go a day earlier. I highly suggest making a reservation as the restaurant is small and they were turning away customers.
