The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the owner was very friendly. The atmosphere was perfect for a small riverside town, with great entertainment provided by Lp33 who put on a fantastic show. View all feedback.
What Carla Schillig doesn't like about Rocky's Sturgeon Bay Inn:
I wanted to try the breaded tenderloin but they were out, so I settled for the grilled tenderloin. Unfortunately, it was overcooked. I was informed that the restaurant is experiencing financial difficulties and couldn't afford to offer the breaded tenderloins. If money is that tight, it might be better to close the doors before the reputation of the restaurant is completely ruined. View all feedback.
The wife and I stopped here on our way along the Great River Road. We were checking out the fall foliage and decided to try out some local flavor. Our server was also the owner of the establishment and she was a hoot! She served us up a Breaded Pork Tenderloin that was absolutely fantastic! We had a side order of hot and crispy fries that along with everything else was served quickly and piping hot! Definitely stop by if you are in the New Boston, Illinois area!
One of the BEST breaded pork tenderloins I've ever had!
Good food! Always willing making to make the trip for the food.
