Mary's Steamed Cheeseburgers

The restaurant offers a wide variety of vegan options and the service was quite good. We had no idea it was BYOB before arriving, which added an enjoyable twist to our experience. I tried the Mission Impossible burger and absolutely loved it; the mission sauce was fantastic. When we visited around 5:00 PM on a Saturday, there was plenty of seating available, allowing us to choose our spot. However, since the place is small, I can see how it could get crowded easily. We were fortunate to visit at a quieter time.

This is a fantastic little spot with an innovative menu. The staff is very friendly, and Mary really stood out as exceptional. I’m visiting from North Carolina and stumbled upon this place while in town for the Newport Folk Festival. The avocado fries were amazing, and the burger was truly unique—like nothing I’ve ever tasted before. I loved my experience and will definitely return!

The food was excellent. I've never been a fan of steamed burgers, but Mary's really impressed me. They don't serve alcohol, but you can bring your own, which is a nice option. The staff and service were also quite good.

Delicious vegan menu. Really puts her heart and soul into her cooking. Her tzatziki sauce and feta are her own recipe along with many other of her vegan items. Even my teenage son's non vegan friends order off her vegan menu. Her food is amazing.

I had the AL East Impossible Burger and chikn strips with mission sauce. The best burger I have ever had. Chikn was delicious. Made in house I really am blown away by how delicious it was. The owner is a very nice woman who kept me company while I ate my lunch. She asked many questions and gave me much information. Highly recommend this place! Also they will have the new Impossible Burger possibly starting this weekend
