The Rose Crown - New Balderton

First impressions are a very quaint traditional country pub. We had a group of about twenty for an afternoon meal. The only word I can use when describing the food is exceptional. Taste fantastic. Portion size was great and to serve twenty meals in ten minutes outstanding. Food or drinks the rose and crown is in my top five best an absolute must visit. Thanks to all the staff hopefully we’ll be back soon. Price per person: £10–20

Was a sad occasion, as was a funeral wake. Pub welcoming and food good.

My date really fancied pizza the chef was very accommodating, making him exactly what he wished for. The Sunday lunch for me was divine, fresh veg a jug of gravy. Perfection! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I didn't eat on this recent visit but I have eaten here before and can highly recommend it. There's a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fish and Chips
