A couple of weeks ago, I visited Mannings while I was in New Albany for work, having found it on Google Maps. As soon as I arrived, the scent of smoke wafted through the air, making my mouth water! This place is really impressive; you can actually see the entire process from a pile of logs to the log splitter, then to stacking the wood, and finally to the smokers in the corner of the parking lot. While driving on Interstate 22, we stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant. The barbecue pork was outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable. My wife and I ordered two pork sandwich plates for under $20, and we even purchased a pound to take home. The menu is straightforward but offers great options.

I stopped in for a late lunch and liked it so much I brought home some for the family.
