Hudson 29 New Albany

Hudson 29 is one of the many Carmeron Mitchell Restaurants we frequent from time to time, depending on the occasion, and where we are at the time. Hudson 29 is our go-to when we are near New Albany, occasionally Rusty Bucket. On this occasion, our reservation was honored a little early and we were led to the booth we requested. That section of the restaurant was about full (past the bar straight ahead). Our waiter attended us quickly, and quickly took our drink orders and served them, then just as expeditiously and politely took our entree orders. From the reasonably timely delivery of the entree (lunch) on, the attentiveness became spotty, such as some clearance of dishes and we were never asked if we wanted dessert. In all of this the waiter was very polite and everything was accurate. Not bad service, to be sure, but not as good as to what we are accustomed at Cameron Mitchell.

Exceptional food and vibe and great for outdoor summer dining

Great dining for a large group. Drinks and food came out in a timely manner. Everyone enjoyed their food, from pasta, hamburgers and sandwiches to sushi.

Good food, great location, nice atmosphere, a bit loud outside but I think it’s because of the overhang catching the sound. I would definitely recommend; we prefer this location over Upper Arlington, it’s just overall nicer in every way.

Mindy is the best!!! She always provides exceptional service and is friendly and accommodating! The food was delicious as always!!
