the restaurant is flowering and the personal can not see it first, but it is really worth waiting. we had luck getting a table on the terrace that was less crowded than inside. the personal is knowledgeable and can tell them exactly what dishes are vegan. that is really important in a small town like göreme. for beginners we had parkora and for the main thing, we had dal tadka and aloo jeera with tandoori roti. every... in any case had better Indian food, but eating was good enough with many options. 15 minutes waiting for table, 10 minutes waiting to get a menu, 20 minutes to take the order and 40 minutes waiting for eating, and even then she got the order wrong. Really disappointed and it messes up the evening plans updated by the previous review on 2022-10-04 View all feedback.
This place is on it. quite aware of what is in every meal and are very adapted to the meal. 100% recommend the mushroom chili, pakoras, Samosa’s, the roti was also beautiful and the aloo gobi was the best!
Nice place and helpful friendly stuff. They know what vegan means. I forgot the name but it was a delicious vegetables spicy dish with bread. I also saw that a buffet seams possible... Thank you
I was very surprised to see multiple Indian restaurants in this small Turkish town... but I'm glad this is the one I tried! I saw it on HC first felt confident based off the reviews and I was right! Friendly service (like everywhere in Turkiye), staff had good English to ask questions about what was vegan friendly they were well informed with the menu. I ate here twice in 4 days in Goreme hehehe The cumin potatoes, samosa, aloo gobi dal tadka were all very delicious! The roti can be vegan if you ask. It has many Indian guests eating inside I overheard people complimenting the food so you know it must be good!!
You know it’s a good restaurant when everyone eating is also Indian. I’ve had such a hard time eating in Turkey and haven’t loved a single thing. Finally I ate a full meal and only for 22$ we had two meals, lemon soda, white rice, vegetable biryani (amazing) and naan bread. Updated from previous review on 2022-05-18
They clearly know the difference between vegetarian and vegan food. Few meals I tried were very tasty. My favourite was potatoes with cumin, absolutely delicious. Waiters were nice and friendly.
