Great place, friendly service, very tasty food and a first-class atmosphere I give it seven stars in all categories I'll be back
We spent one evening at Basement and were unfortunately disappointed overall. The first waitress, a young gentleman, was very nice, but after that, the service deteriorated significantly. The older lady with blond hair was particularly unfriendly – almost as if she had already had too much to drink herself. The ambiance could use some freshening up; it doesn't feel very inviting. The cocktails were also far too strong and tasted of cheap alcohol. Unfortunately, this was our first and last time there.
After walking around the town looking for food at a decent price, we found the Basement. Located beneath a Chinese restaurant with its entrance in the back of the building, Basement is a cozy place to stop by for a no-fuss dinner. The ceiling is vaulted and made of brick. There are two spaces: the bar and the restaurant. The cocktails and beers were good. I order a piña colada everywhere I go and was pleasantly surprised at how good the cocktail from Basement tasted. The food was also pretty good. I was in the mood for greasy food and ordered chicken chips (these were chicken nuggets) with fries. My partner ordered the 3 herring dish with potatoes. The portions were large and we both couldn’t finish our meal. The server was very polite and attentive. We never had to wait long for our orders or our check. I’d definitely return.

I went back after a while and was quite put off by the cleanliness: the restrooms hadn 't been cleaned with soap in at least two weeks (the pile of used paper towels was enormous , and everything seemed somehow sticky —I hope the kitchen looked better. The food was OK (farmer 's breakfast , although the side salad was probably fresh the day before. The service is fast and has a Mecklenburg charm, which is almost too friendly for me, a Pomeranian. ;

Very tasty and friendly, again at any time
I often make holiday in Neustrelitz. I love the cellar! Great location, very nice staff, here you are dog-friendly and there are delicious food that is cooked here. I'm happy every time I'm back, I always know I'm looking good. Go on! Service: Dine in Meal Type: Dinner
