Excellent food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and the bartender spoke some English.

Best beer in town! They are brewing their own beer! Stumm's Brauhaus inside Altes Hütternareal that means in the past the building is a kind of factory. Coal and steel... If you visit Neunkirchen you have to stop by Stumm's Brauhaus.

Good German food, good beer, nice location, nice interior. And walking distance from the holiday inn. I eat there at least once in every business trip here. Maybe a little new to be considered truly traditional, but great quality.

Nice restaurant and brewery with a neat backdrop of the former Neunkirchen Steel factory and the remaining towers and tank that were left in the complex. The beer (pils) was OK and the Jagerschnitzel and spatzle was decent. Not the best of either but the service was great, they spoke English and took credit cards (excluding Amex) which was helpful as a traveler from the US. The espresso and sorbet dessert option was great with a raspberry sorbet, some kind of a pastry, and good espresso. Recommend if staying at the Holiday Inn Express or traveling to the downtown area for dinner or a show.

Excellent restaurant with specialties from Saarland. Huge portions, average prices, quick and friendly service.
